Aromatherapy
The art of healing with natural essential oils
What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is a complementary healing method based on the use of pure essential oils extracted from various parts of the plant – flowers, leaves, bark, resins, and roots. Each essential oil is a concentrated and biologically active extract, containing volatile molecules with a profound effect on the body and mind.
The method relies on the understanding that scent has direct access to the limbic system in the brain – the area responsible for emotions, memory, stress regulation, and autonomic responses. Unlike other therapies, aromatherapy works simultaneously on both the physiological and emotional-energetic levels.
Each oil carries a unique "signature" – a combination of chemical and energetic properties that help balance the body's systems naturally: calming and stabilizing oils (like lavender and chamomile), antiseptic and anti-inflammatory oils (like tea tree and eucalyptus), stimulating oils that boost vitality and breathing (like lemon, peppermint, and rosemary), and deep oils working on emotional opening and releasing blockages (like frankincense and myrrh).
Treatment can be administered in various ways: massage, room diffusion, direct inhalation, compresses, baths, or diluted application on the skin. The correct choice of oils, dosage, and method allows for the creation of a personalized treatment that strengthens the body, calms the nervous system, and promotes overall well-being – physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Essential Oil Distillation – From Plant to Bottle
I distill some of the essential oils I use in treatments and in my daily life myself. The distillation process is a meditative experience in its own right – watching water turn to steam, steam carrying the soul of the plant, and the first clear drops of oil slowly forming. When I distill oil myself, I feel a deeper connection to the material. I know the plant, where it came from, and I accompany it through every stage until it becomes a healing essence. This connection carries forward – to the treatment, to the client, and to the result. Self-distillation allows me to understand oils at a level that cannot be learned from books. Every batch is different, every plant tells a different story, and every oil born from a handmade process carries within it a unique and intentional energy.Benefits of Aromatherapy

My Connection to Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy entered my life through the back door. Not through a course or a book – but through a single scent that changed how I felt in a given moment. That moment taught me that scent has a power that goes far beyond "pleasant" or "unpleasant." Since then, I've been exploring, experimenting, and deepening my understanding of the world of essential oils. I've studied the chemistry behind each oil, its effect on the nervous system and on the emotional landscape, and how scents can open doors that seem locked. In my treatments, aromatherapy doesn't stand alone – it's an extension of attentive listening. I choose oils based on what I sense from the person in front of me, what their body needs and what their soul is asking for. It's not a formula – it's a conversation between plant and person, and I'm just the translator.Frequently Asked Questions
Aromatherapy is considered a safe and natural method, but oils must be tailored individually. Some oils are prohibited during pregnancy, for small children, or for people with certain sensitivities and high blood pressure. Therefore, every treatment begins with a comprehensive intake.
The sense of smell is directly connected to the limbic system in the brain, which is the center of our emotions and memories. Inhaling an essential oil can trigger memories, release emotional blockages, or lower anxiety and stress levels within seconds.
The emotional effect (like relaxation or arousal) usually occurs immediately upon inhaling the oil. Physical effects (such as relieving muscle tension or immune support) build up gradually and require consistency or a series of treatments.
